Aims and Scope
Aims
Exp. Appl. Vet. Res. J. is an international and a secondary post-publication peer review (PPPR) journal, which means that it is complimentary to the traditional peer review process, but the reviewing process takes place both pre-publication by a specialist editor and post-publication by reviewers as well. The accepted manuscripts will be given a constant date of publiction but the published version will be updated. The journal’s goal is to disseminate, broaden, and share information in all fields of veterinary medicine to academics, researchers, and industry participants engaged in this field.
Scope
High-quality original research articles, review papers, and case reports conducted in a range of veterinary medicine specialties are published by the Exp. Appl. Vet. Res. J., including:
1- Internal and Preventive Veterinary Medicine. This includes all papers related to diseases and infections of small and large animals with their prevention measures.
2- Surgery and Theriogenology. This covers all scientific articles pertaining to veterinary surgery, veterinary anesthesiology, veterinary theriogenology, veterinary reproductive diseases, veterinary fertility, veterinary reproductive techniques, and veterinary laparoscopic surgery.
3- Veterinary Public Health. Subjects enrolled within this field include animal behaviors, animal nutrition, meat hygiene, milk science, veterinary genetics, animal welfare and management.
4- Pathology and Poultry Diseases. This important field involves poultry and avian diseases, fish diseases and management, animal diseases and behaviors, veterinary forensic pathology, among others.
5- Veterinary Anatomy and Histology. This field of study includes topics pertaining to animal stem cells, embryology, and veterinary anatomy and histology.
6- Veterinary Microbiology. Many subjects can be published under this domain, such as animal microbiology, food microbiology, pharmaceutical microbiology, industrial microbiology, systems microbiology, evolutionary microbiology, microbial ecology, microbial physiology, microbial genetics, and microbial biotechnology.
7- Veterinary Parasitology. This area of research involves subjects related to veterinary or zoonotic parasites, their diagnosis and treatment.
8- Biochemistry, Physiology and Pharmacology. All manuscripts related to veterinary biochemistry, veterinary physiology, veterinary pharmacology and toxicology are welcomed within the Exp. Appl. Vet. Res. J.
9- Zoonotic Diseases. Our journal focuses on all aspects of zoonotic diseases including subjects related to the etiology, biology, diagnosis, epidemiology, treatment, prevention, and management of zoonoses. Zoonotic pathogens include an array of bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, their arthropod vectors, and prions that cause infections transmitted to humans by companion (pets and service) animals, livestock, and wildlife or even invertebrate vectors.
